The brain is a very complex organ, it's where everything is stored. Your thoughts, imagination, actions and emotions all come from your brain. Although the brain is very complicated, it's also very sensitive and vulnerable.
I say sensitive for a reason, your brain takes and stores everything it gets in contact with, the subconscious is working as your hard drive and its storage is unlimited.
That's why you have to be the best gate keeper for your brain and you have to work hard on filtering the information that gets in. Some information will evoke positive emotions and actions and other information will do the exact opposite.
Your atmosphere, friends, family, tv shows you watch, books you read, podcasts you listen to, and even the music you listen to, all have an effect on your brain and the way you act.
You can start becoming more aware of all the sources of information you are surrounded with and you'll notice why you think and act a certain way, and that'll make you want to protect your mental health.
